Rava/Sooji Upma

Rava upma is Rich in Iron and potassium.It increase hemoglobin level and easy to digest.

Give different tasty and healthy food for babies.lets see how to make rava/Sooji upma.

Ingredients

  • Rava-1/4 cup or 2 spoon
  • Mustard-1/4 tspn
  • Turmeric powder-1/4 tspn
  • Salt

Preparation

Heat a pan.Take 1/4 cup or 2 spoon of Rava/Sooji and fry until turns aromatic.Do not burn.When turns aromatic off the flame and keep aside the roasted Rava/sooji.

Same pan.Add ghee -1/4 tspn.Add mustard-1/4 tspn for seasoning.Add turmeric powder-1/4tspn.Saute.Add a glass of water and allow to boil.When bubbles up add roasted Rava/Sooji and stir occasionally.Lumps free.Off the flame when get mild thick consistency.

Serve for babies 6 months above.
